How can you target the right candidates?

How to Target the Right Candidate

With a candidate driven job market, how is it possible to target the type of candidates to your role?

As we all know, the job market right now is very candidate driven. So many companies we speak to that are actively recruiting are understandably experiencing a high volume of applications. We have even heard of as many of 200 applications for a local administration role! Many of these candidates are not always presenting with the relevant experience required or desired for the roles they are applying for.

Finding and hiring the right candidate is a difficult and costly task for any company. Advertising, sifting through mountains of CV’s and conducting numerous interviews eat into an already busy schedule.

It is very unlikely that simply advertising for your ideal candidate will yield rich rewards. It takes time to attract and find the right candidate.

This is when the experienced, specialist recruiters at Xpert Resourcing can help!

At Xpert Resourcing we really want to get to know your business, understand what makes it tick, know what kind of employees you want to attract and appreciate the company culture – our consultative approach drills down into this and enables us to:

present you with an appropriate job description

  • draw up a suitable job advert
  • utilize the best candidate databases
  • screen candidates
  • showcase only the most suitable candidates with relevant experience or qualifications

The measures we put in place for our clients ensure we do not cut corners. As a client you are only introduced to candidates most suitable for the role -this also aids retention. Our client guarantee also gives you peace of mind that for any reason the situation changes you can be supplied with a replacement at no extra cost*

Helping Former Thomas Cook Staff

We had a great time at recruitment day at Peterborough Town hall on 2 October. The event, organised by Opportunity Peterborough, was a chance to meet some of those recently affected by the sad collapse of the Thomas Cook business, to offer advice and help them to find new employment.

Thomas Cook employed around 1000 people in Peterborough and we met some really excellent candidates on the day. We hope to help some of them find new opportunities and wish all of those affected the very best with finding new roles.

If anyone is in need of advice on the job market and finding employment then please do get in touch for a chat.
