Fun on the Radio for Xpert Resourcing

Our Business Development Manager and Organiser of Ely Hero Awards, Naomi Sherwood headed over to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire along with our Director, Emma Smith to be interviewed on the Chris Mann, “Man in the Morning” show.

Winner of this award last year, Mark Cornell from The Prospects Trust was also interviewed about winning the prestigious award, how it made him feel, his work as the Farm Manager along with the help and support he gives to the co-workers.

Chris discussed with Naomi and Mark the impact of the awards personally and for the community. In its 4th year, Ely Hero Awards spreads a huge amount of positivity in the community, bringing heroes and their families together during the exciting awards evening held in the summer. Mark comments that just to be nominated was an “uplifting experience”
